Didn't know where to put this shot, but HiggMeister and I went shooting at the Farmer's Market last night. I purposely under exposed it, but I think I went a little too far. It's in RAW format, so I can fix it up. Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated!

Looks a bit soft, almost like the focus was on the background. It could certainly use a boost in levels and some sharpening.

I think I have the viewfinder's eye thing wrong. Is it supposed to be in the center for 20/20 vision?

No idea - maybe it's in the manual?

The viewfinder has that little adjustment part on the eyepiece for people who have glasses. I dunno what the adjustment is for 20/20 hehe.

    Hey Tyler,
At first glance, I liked this one better. It does have better contrast and seemed to separate better from the background. I then looked again at the original post and really like the subtle colors of the background with the white against it. Try kicking up the highlights (statue) while keeping the background subdued.

I had a blast at the farmers market. Have you seen the results they posted? I'm impressed with that little camera. I adjusted a few and they popped right out, but noisy though. I might just have to do that again this Thursday. Virginia might get a camera this time (keep my fingers crossed). Well have to see closer to Thursday though.

    Thanks for sharing,
    Chris

Autofocus - then look through viewfinder and adjust the diopter until the image is as clear to you as it already is to the camera.
