Finally got to see my son wrestle this season. He has had 2 away matches and then 2 forfeits at home. Here are a few of my favorites from the meet. I liked the expressions on the wrestlers. Taken with 40D, ISO 3200.

#1 My son, he gave me all of 22 seconds to take pictures before he won by pin

Three excellent shots! You captured the action and the facial expressions well.

I am impressed by the ISO 3200 shots. I would never have guessed that with the skin tones your shots display.

Thanks. I was pretty happy with them, although would have appreciated a little more time with my son. I'm so jealous of the photographers who can shoot above 3200. It is the max on my 40D (7D is on my wishlist). I try to avoid shooting at 3200 because I do see quite a bit of noise, however the venues I've been shooting in are all pretty dark and I don't like to (or sometimes am not allowed) to use flash. I use Neat Image to clean up the photos and if they were pretty much exposed correctly to begin with they seem to clean up nicely. These three were only adjusted for cropping and noise reduction.
