I use a Canon 28-135 IS lens for at least 80% of photos made on my 20D. It's a great carry-around lens (I just wish Canon made an "L" lens in this range...), and the IS does make a difference at times (esp on the longer end of the zoom range).

Anyone with this lens -- consider adding the Canon lens hood to it (about $25). That not only helps reduce lens flare (and possibly aid contrast) in shots with a light source anywhere out in front of the lens (esp outdoors). Plus, it provides enough extra "bump protection" for the business end of the lens that I feel I can forego using a full-time Skylight or UV filter "for protection" (except in conditions with blowing dust/sand). And if you're into aesthetics, then of course the hood looks cool, too.

I agree with Andy, windoze is a great person to deal with, if he says it's in mint condition, then it's in mint condition. I bought a 85 f/1.8 from windoze, and it looked brand new, even the box.
