Well went out this morning and it did not seem to cold, but after a couple of hours had to call it the day. Was overcast, and I wanted to test out the new lens, and we got lucky with the few of the Golden Eyes had been around.

    Beautiful shots! Well done.

    BTW, cold is not a verb. You said "didn't seem to cold". Surely you meant "too cold"?

    Hi Charles, I used the Nikon 500mm VR II lens for these shots. Images 2 and 3 are my favorites in this series.

    Hi Alex, first of all thanks for the comments. Now I guess I should clear up the cold part of things. Ok take me out and shoot me.

    The first hour out did not seem cold at all, but after that the toes and fingers started to get real cold and than the rest of me. And yes "too cold" is the word for sure.
