Silky Water with Ice

Tried for some silky water shots today, and got caught up in trying to combine the ice formed over the waterfall with the flowing water. Not sure how well these came out.
I admit I did cheat - these are actually of the waterfall I built to feed my pond.

C&C always welcome.

#5 This one is definitely more about the ice.

Ooohhh, I like these, especially the first two. Not sure why the third isn't on my fave list (as it shares a lot of commonality with the first two -- perhaps just not enough opening in the ice/snow). I think the little frozen sticks detract in the last two. thumb.gif

Thanks Andrew, I'll have to see if I can lose the sticks from the last two, just not sure if my pp skills are up to it.

    I really like these a lot!thumb.gifthumb.gif
The silky water gies so well with the smooth flowing lines of the ice. Nice capture. #1 is my favorite but 2 & 3 are close seconds. As Andy says, the sticks detract from the last two.

Thanks for diving in Jack, much appreciated.
I did get some time to do some additional post on the last two so here they are sans sticks.

Nice cloning!! I'll pick 4a because I really like the flowing ice shape near the top water/ice edge.

Thanks Andrew, it took a while to get right but I'm reasonably pleased with how they turned out.
