Some ice shots together with one hardy bluebottle fly I found. Taken at a shade air temp of 1'C.
Always fascinated by the almost cellular structure ice can have.

Certainly have Brian and the gritters have stopped performing.

Did wonder if the ice structure is caused by it partially thawing and then re-freezing.
