Elements 8.0 'Send to Smugmug' Win7 freeze fix

Took me a while to sort this out on the adobe website, wanted to share the official fix in the event others have the same issue.

I'm running Windows 7 and Elements 8.0. The issue occurs when selecting multiple photos and using the 'Send to Smugmug Gallery' option under 'Share' in the Organizer.

For some reason, if I upload a large nubmer of files, I occasionally receive an error during upload that the internet connection has been lost, giving me the option to try again now, later, or cancel. Regardless of option selected, this can result in Organizer freezing and failing to reopen.

Adobe support guy johnrellis spells it out here;

http://www.johnrellis.com/psedbtool/photoshop-elements-faq.htm#Reset_the_Organizers_online_services

The attached recommends opening the log file under the Organizer app data. If 'Initializing OLS' is the last entry, the Online Services are buggered.

Fixing this is simple - delete the folder for 'Online Services' in the App Data path and restart the Organizer. The same fix is recommended for Elements 6, 7, & 8 and Win XP, Vista, and 7.

    Interesting. Checked my PSE7 log.txt file and found "initializing OLS" in about middle of file. Haven't used it yet as using LR2.6. But will do so soon. Thanks, Mike.
