    Thanks for your comments, yes Tristan I did crop it a little. I still think I can do better in getting a shot of the moon. This was my first attempt so no doubt the next full moon I will try again.:D :D:): :):

    These are really wonderful shots. So much detail! thumb.gif

    But,OK, I'm sure you can't see all that detail with just a 300mm lens. You must be using a telescope, right? I'm clueless about this sort of photography, so please enlighten me.

    My husband has a telescope and an adapter for a canon camera. I've always wanted to try this. Please, tell me where to start.
