Thumbnails use rose-colored glasses!

I'm noting a consistent (across multiple galleries and images) condition in which the thumbnails which are generated show a LOT more red than the actual image itself when displayed. I've attached an example, which can also be found at this gallery:

Is color management or some other setting not being enforced on thumbnails but are on the display image?

Any guidance on how to fix this would be appreciated!

Last I heard, color-managed browsers (Firefox and Safari) were getting main images that were color managed, but thumbnails were not color managed which could explain the issue you've shown.

I don't know what Smugmug's plans are or aren't to deal with color management for thumbs.

adding the profile to the thumbs causes a dramatic uptick in disk usage and slower speed. We're always looking at this, but for now, the performance hit doesn't justify changing right now.
