Alien Winter Wonderland

On Saturday I headed out to The Whiteshell area in Manitoba, Canada for another photo exploration. After a few failed attempts at finding a good location for photos I decided to return to a familiar spot. We just finished a really cold stretch of weather and since it had been much warmer the last few days I was thinking it might be worth checking out. Well it sure was. I've posed 1 image already from this location linked below but here are the rest from this location. I think this is a great example of the beauty that mother nature can produce!

Don't know where to start- fascinating images! They're all great but I'm really drawn to the lines & patterns of #4-6. The ice pattern in the FG of #4 is really cool but I find #6 to be the strongest composition of them all. It just seems to contain all the elements of the other photos that I love- hoar frost, ice fingers, and a bit of fall color along for the ride.

They are all excellent, however the last one is especially fine. I especially like the leaves in the background. This is a wall hanger for sure.
