Walked around Narita-san Yokohama Temple, sometimes called Noge Fudoson, the other day and took some pictures
This temple has two parts – one at the base of the hill and one on top. All along the hillside joining the two secions of the temple are small statues that have been placed amoung the rocks and crags.
Most of these statues appear to be either depictions of Myou, the five kings knowledge, or foxes, which usually represent Inari (Goddess of farmers, fishermen, and merchants).
