Lost my SM site.

Just uploaded a few photos to my site, went to see how they looked, and I got an error saying it could not find the page, and then eventually it linked to an old site that I have not used for years. It seems to be pointing at the wrong site, it does not link to my SM site. This is the site it was pointing to http://pembrokeshire.smugmug.com/
The only thing that I have done in the last day is try to set up a google address using the webpage address ie. ****@pembrokeshirephotos.eu. For this I had to alter the MX settings with 1&1, could this have any bearing on the problem? Grateful for any advice, I've exhausted my very limited knowledge of these things!
Thanks

    Hi,

1&1 is pretty unique. There are issues with them allowing you a CNAME, and A Record, and having your domain email function. I can't say I fully understand why they do things the way they do, as they're (to my knowledge) the only registrar that imposes these kinds of limitations. Our domain specialists will be able to give you more info and help get things fixed up.

We've received your email to the help desk and our domain specialists will be back in touch with some options. Stay tuned!

Thanks Steve. The annoying thing is I set this up myself initially, and it was fine but I can't see where I'm now going wrong! I have reverted back to where I was with 1&1, mail is fine, and I'm now linking to smugmug, but it tells me there is a problem with domain name. I'm lost!

I am, hopefully, but I thought a thank you would be in order, rather than look as if I have ignored his post and am not grateful.

Also have been dealing with Nick, who has proved to be extremely helpful!
So a big thank you to him as well! thumb.gif
