I have been working on landscapes, but I wanted to show
that I do have bird photos. Since Andy says that you
are known by the least good of your work, or whatever,
I am putting up one shot.

I could be known by this shot with pride, IMHO.

I will work on other bird photos as soon as I get
a chance.

Thanks for looking,
I hope you comment,
thank you, if you do,

ginger (I am sure these must be "juveniles",
as I don't know what kind of birds they are,
Great Blue Herons??? I don't know.)
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

Nice shot Ginger! I think they are "Tricolored Herons", appear to be juveniles.

Thank you, for the info and for commenting. I have never seen a tri color, have always wanted to. It seems the population of that area is changing a bit. Maybe some birds are moving into the wetlands from the river, and from wetlands to river.

If I had a Magnolia Gardens jeep and the right uniform, I could zip from one to the other, myself. As it is, just getting in there, it is as far as I am going. In fact, I just walked the dogs to the backyard. That seemed a bit far to me today, smile.

    love these birds, though,

ginger (If I had the jeep and the uniform, they might put me to work and make me stay there.........yikes.)

Whatever they are Ginger, old or young, tricolored or bi, they look fantastic. You took them in a lovely pose. Love the detail in their wings.
Great shot. (I never doubted that you had bird shots, you know too much about birds to not photograph them)

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
