Beautiful day, winter sky, evening haze.

Twisty roads, laughing people, splendid view.

That's San Francisco for ya.

who says your subject shouldn't be in the center!?!?! :D

Very nice, Schmoo thumb.gif I like the difference in 'hazy-ness', left and right compared. Very nice also that you got enough range in it so parts didn't turn black. The people on top are the icing on the cake (or the cherry on the whipped cream, or the people on the mountain lol3.gif).

    Very cool shot, Schmoo! thumb.gif

Is that a busy street? I can't help but imagine how cool this same comp would look as a long exposure at night with taillights and headlights zooming around those twists and turns!

Thanks so much, guys! This was at Twin Peaks, but (hopefully) not a common view of a very popular location.

I'd recently seen a breathtaking shot of this view and had to try it myself. Although the weather didn't cooperate, it's worth revisiting or trying if any of you are in SF.

The road there is pretty busy I guess? At least, it was when I was there because it was tough to get 7 shots for this pano that didn't have a car or a pedestrian on it. But at night I don't know how busy it is. You're right that it would be so cool to get this with light trails. I will have to try that, thank you! :D

The people at the top were my husband (a very, very useful assistant, and we communicated via SMS) and a couple of out-of-town tourists (inevitable there).
