More of a question about lightroom exporting

First, I love smugmug.

I've been trying to get better at keywording and setting captions so I've been setting these meta-data fields in my image editor which is Lightroom 2. When I go to export I use the Lightroom exporter from Jeffrey Friedl. When I export to a website like Flickr everything seems to work right, as you can see here. I've got a title set, keywords are working right, and I've got a caption that appears too. When I export to Smugmug though, as you can see here, something seems to slightly go wrong. My title appears where my caption should be. Keywords work fine.

I'm guessing this is something wrong with the export plug-in I'm using, but I can't exactly figure out what. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about what I'm doing wrong. I know the exporter has templates for meta-data, and the template I have set right now is "{Title|Headline|Caption|Filename}". So maybe it's something with that. Let me know if anyone has any ideas!

Happy Holidays!

There was a similar issue discussed on this thread http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=150808&highlight=metadata

It may have something to do with what you are seeing, YMMV.

    How is it set up?
IN the export settings, there is an "image caption" section. It has a "Caption preset" and you can edit it.

I change mine to "Basic Caption/title". You get that by editing, changing the tokens to {Caption|Title}.

I then by convention in Lightroom use "Caption" for a more detailed description, and "Title" for a short (often generic) title, e.g. "50th birthday shots". You may chose to do otherwise, but generally put the more detailed ones you might leave blank on some shots first.

Then in the Metadata section of lightroom, there is a "Title" and "Caption". Just fill those in. If you leave Caption blank, it uses title (in the order I put the tokens).

These flow up to Smugmug as indicated, and during the export dialog the first shot is shown as an example.

Never a problem through a lot of versions of th plugin.
