The weather is too nasty here to go out shooting, so I decided to amuse myself with a composite.

Thanks for looking. C&C always welcome.

Oh this is very cool Richard. It took me a few minutes to spot all of the inserted pieces, in fact I'm going to go back and see if I got them all. headscratch.gif Very nice job here.

    Love it, Richard! thumb.gif

Like one of those kid picture games where one has to spot so many birds or all the out of place (like yours) items! Well done!

I could see a whole series like this! Some doen even more subtly than this! And a 'prize' to the one that can get the count of inserted items right!

I count four! Maybe some broccoli swapped for a tree or to would work, as well!

    Hey Richard,

This is a real stroke of genious. Very clever and exceptionally well executed.

    Take care and Happy Holidays,

Many thanks, everyone! I tried to work in a fifth object, but I couldn't get it to integrate well, so I decided to quit while I was ahead. Sometimes less is more. lol3.gif

Hope you all have a great holiday. thumb.gif

Has anybody ever told you that you live in a weird neighbourhood? ;)

This is amazingly awesome, Richard. :wow You should put a frame on it, with a caption something like "Chicago Cuisine", or something along those lines. I think my wife would like a copy of this to hang in the kitchen. Not kidding. Wish I could do that. bowdown.gif

So what are you doing in Chicago? I thought you lived in Spain?

This is definitely on the cutting edge. I keep grinding my teeth trying to figure out what gives me that "toasty warm feeling". Just a grate shot!

Happy holiday to you and thanks for bringing smiles to all of us!

Thanks, Federico, Cuong, Joel and Rainbow.

Joel: I grew up in Chicago and still have family there. Great place for music, art and architecture. And big toasters lol3.gif I'm sure you could do something just as good...all it takes is time and insanity. mwink.gif

Rainbow: Thanks for the punishment. Gave me a good laugh. thumb.gif

I'm not really sure this is an improvement, though. When you look at something long enough, it's hard to be objective.

Ma Cuisine pops out too much as it is rounded and has text, so the eye thinks it is a billboard but then realizes quickly it isn't.

    Still a cool photo.

Thanks, Brad. I was concerned about the curved spine not fitting in well, but I actually enhanced the text to be more legible at small viewing sizes. I appreciate the feedback.

What a wonderful play with shapes, etc. thumb.gif You did a good job on this. I'd hate to even attempt it.

So I came back to look at this again, still really like it, I got an idea for adding more that might be subtle to the eye (sorry if my last comment came across as harsh been doing lots of reading and learning this holiday period) but perhaps little lego or fisher price people, or model cars? Maybe even model trains for the El? Just thinking......

Thanks for the suggestion, Brad, but I think I might just stick with the original and call it done. thumb.gif
