Mafia Story

I thought I'd post an assignment I had for class due some weeks ago. We had to create a fictional story in five photographs that had a clear beggining, middle and end. It also should be self sufficient, as in not need any text to understand the story. I decided to make mine a Mafia story, and would love to hear your input.

Oh, I really, really like them

Nice processing, the story is easy to "get", I like your angles, good expressions & nice crops

Very nice work! About as clear of a story as you could g, and made all teh better for only being 5 pictures with no words!

but…

You gave the game away in the title! Perhaps you should have said nothing about the Mafia…

Also, the glasses are remarkably empty!

…and the one where she's pouring would have been more convincing if you'd caught the liquid going from the bottle to the glass!

(Hint: You don't have to use real whisky - cold tea looks convincing enough )

Oh, and to give it some style, use a bottle of 30 year-old Laphroiag (might have to dilute the tea to get the right colour )

There's a little bit of flare in #4; lighting is a bit harsh perhaps, could be softer and more smokey, and also have you tried B & W ???

Also, what is the white plastic-looking thingy in #4 (looks like part of a headset…)
