From the Virginia Highland Games held at Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA.
In the sheaf toss, the sheaf(hay wrapped in burlap weighing 20 lbs) is tossed over a crossbar with a pitchfork. The starting height is 22 feet and I believe the record toss is 37 feet. One thing is sure, I wouldn't say a thing to these guys about wearing skirts.:D Anyways, hope you like the pix...........John
