    Neat shot, and welcome
My latest Yowie toy was an orange grasshopper and my grandson commented he'd never seen one in his 4.5 years, and it's true, we don't see too many leaf hoppers or grasshoppers were we live along the coast. Back east we used to see them all the time!

Hope to see more photos from you soon.

Now he's a nice looking Grasshopper........ ya know I have only had the opportunity to photograph 2 grasshoppers in the last 2 years, but both were really tiny ........ now your Green Guy looks pretty cool and really stands out.

Love the eye........one day I'm gonna find myself a big big big one to photograph
Thanks for sharing and welcome to the forum.....Skippy (Australia)

Thank you folks for the welcome and nice comments! I think I got lucky with this picture. My wife Theresa found this grasshopper in her flower garden and told me to get my camera. I guess it looked interesting to her! I am glad the grasshopper stood still long enough for me to get some shots of it. I used a sony 717. Thanks again, Bob
