Password Protecting a whole Gallery?

How can I password protect a whole gallery? Id like to password protect the whole "my family pictures" gallery and not each specific event in the gallery... So my family can get in.. but not have to enter the password for every different subcategory.

Password protection is at the gallery level - but if you assign the same password to all of the galleries in your "my families pictures" subcategory then the viewers with the password will only need to log in once.

yup, just give all the galleries in the category the same password.
