How do I create new photos for my Navbar. Right now I have in the navbar is called new photos. Do i hav eto make a new gallery of all new photos.

You can use the RSS feed - http://www.smugmug.com/help/rss-atom-feeds.

Or you can use a javascript function to pull the most recent x days of photos. That is mentioned in the post Adding a recent photos link to your blog(yes, I know, the post title mentions a blog, but the same method can be used in your smugmug site).
