A slightly extreme application of a Topaz plugin brought out a lot of detail and surrealism not apparent in the original image.

That is absolutely gorgeous, fantastic shot. I wish it were spring or summer so I could find things like this to take pictures of. Damn you winter!!

Very trippy. I think you did a good job of using the effect without letting it overwhelm the beauty of the flowers entirely. Well done thumb.gif.

Of the ones you've done with this technique, I think this one is the best of the bunch. Really good use of the technique.

Jack--I like this one very much!! At first glance, I really thought I was looking at a painting. I think your subject does lend itself to this effect and you really pulled it off nicely. Care to share which Topaz effect(s) you used?

    Well done!

Very different stuff but I like the results you've gotten. This one really stands out.

Thanks Lauren. I'm pretty sure this used Topaz Clean followed by Topaz Sharpen both in the Vivacity suite. Then a slight high pass filter in PS

    HI lauren

You can see a gallery of "Topazed" images here.

Some images came out better than others. Also the images of the old red barn include various non-topaz treatments (I need to label them but haven't gotten around to it yet).
