MacDaddy problem

Hello,
On a Mac, 10.6.2. MacDaddy is 3.0.4 (510)
When I launch MacDaddy I get a window I haven't seen before. It has the smiley logo on the left and text that says
debug
returning nil
I can click "OK" and then get to the normal start-up window.
However, when I try to create a new gallery to upload to the program hangs. The 'snake chasing its tail' in the lower left hand corner just keeps chasing until I click cancel.
Edit - just noticed the Snow Leopard thread. Tried the beta4 but no go. So I guess this is a SL issue and trust it will be resolved soon.
