Some folks have already posted some of their Austin shots.
We had 9 folks meet up in Austin a couple of days ago, for a shoot at the Capitol and along some of the streets. It was a fun time and we've had some great shots posted in people's galleries. If you want some links, please go over to: http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=152211 You'll find some people have linked to their shots towards the end of that thread.
Here's the link to my gallery: http://www.redleashphoto.com/gallery/10785431_DVx7E#752348304_MQscw
And a few shots for your enjoyment. C&C appreciated.

1. A little something for Randy Wells - this reminded me of his work
2. The Capitol as the sun began to set - some Topaz enhancement to bring out the color of the sweet light
3. I got inspired to do B&W after seeing Caroline's successful conversions.
4. Our entertainment for the afternoon!
5. I did get a group shot, but Kerry is hiding!
6. Andrew hard at work
7. and Byron working hard too
8. One of my favorite shots of the day

Really nice shots in this series, and your right, I do love that first shot! I think the colors and processing are spot-on
I love the perspective and conversion on #3
Could you put names to people in the group shot #5?
#6 ~ Andrew, that looks like "Breaking & Entering" are to follow
Thanks for posting these
Randy, sadly, this was a bakery delivery truck and it was empty.... :cry

Clockwise, from L to R: Byron (ByronF72), Andrew (abdsgicom), Scott (M38A1), Caroline (sweet caroline), Brandy (Mrs ojn - screen name is TBD), Kerry's grandmother, Kerry (Llewellyn) in hiding), Oluf (ojn).
This one was shot at the start of our walk--we went in the Capitol for 1 hour, then headed down Congress towards 6th St and the Driskill Hotel. We lost a few folks at various points along the way, ending up with 4 DGrinners and 1 spouse at Magnolia Cafe for dinner and then 3 diehards on SoCo for the neon shots. Only one of us had a long drive back home at the end of the night . . .
. . . so next time, we're shooting the Riverwalk!
Hope some more of you Texans will show up next time--it was great fun!!
