Some Thumbnails in Galleries Don't Display

Some thumbnails in my photo galleries are not displaying. They have a red "x" in the upper left corner with the filename when displayed using I.E 8 and a few lines when using Firefox. A number of different users viewing photos in these galleries are reporting the same problem.

When I click on the thumbnail it displays the photo in full size.

did you get a response from SM regarding this?

I am also seeing random thumbnails not showing on the page...
just showing an empty square...using FF 3.5.6...smugmug layout
if I refresh the page enough times they eventually show up.
???

Try holding down the shift key, and at the same time click on the 'refresh' button from your browser. Does this help?

not reliably, in FF
the third refresh showed the thumbnail
not sure if it was the shift key or the third refresh though?

The problem has not been resolved. I believe Smugmug staff are busy working on more important matters and this is something that can wait. I will check with them later. Thanks for posting that you are having a similar problem.

That's not actually true - we have a fix for this, internally, but it's awaiting push to the live site for some other reasons. Stay tuned and sorry for the brief hassle.
