A new toy and a personal challenge, but most importantly a tribute.

I received a brand new Sigma 10-20 f/4-5.6 today for my D40 :ivar

I've decided to challenge myself with it. It will stay on my camera and it will not leave 10mm. The result of this will be put into a photo blog (and eventually a book, hopefully) for my uncle, who is currently fighting ALS. Anything I could say here will be covered in the blog, so I'll just direct you there:

Thanks to anyone who looks and/or tracks the blog!

I think this is a great idea.

I've often left a single lens on and challenged myself to shoot with it all day. I like that challenge. Especially with the WA--it really forces you to look at things.

Thanks Ian. I've really been enjoying this lens and the challenge.
