Howdy All,

One from Hall's Harbor, NS

The tidal flow here is the most drastic that we saw.

Some can be up to 45-50 feet in a 6 hour period of time.

Thanks so much for looking, Shot with modded D70S.
Take care,

I like the texture in this photo. The rocks and the movement of the water are just wonderful.

This is one of my favorite Webcams, we'd look at it 4-5 times a day before we went to Nova Scotia.

    Howdy Mary,

Thanks so very much, that's very kind of you.

This was just such a special place, if you get a chance check the Webcam link in the post before this one.

The Tidal Change is unbelievable , just such a neat slice of Maritime Life.

Thanks for the webcam--it's neat! I'd love to see those tides some day.

I really like this shot, Craig. It lends itself nicely to B&W and, like Mary says, the texture is very nice. The shot is so crisp also. Very nicely done!

Great shot. Is this the same place? If so I have mine mislabeled as Port George. Seems from your shot and my memory, it may be the same place?

    Howdy Mary,

The white stuff on the left side is "Snow" you'll have to look at it tomorrow in the day light.

    Don

    Howdy Don,

Thanks very much, I can see how you thought it might be the same location, so many things are almost exactly the same. Port George is about 70km West of Hall's Harbor.
