upload skip duplicate question

Hi,

I am uploading a number of photos, and have selected the 'skip duplicate' option. This used to mean I could drag a heap of photos to be uploaded, and it would only upload the ones from that batch, that had not been uploaded before.

It seems now, that if I select this option, it thinks all the photos are duplicates and doesn't import them. I have recently upgraded to Snow leopard, would this cause any probs?

Thanks

Chris

Chris, are you setting the option before adding the photos to the uploader or after? I think you should set it before adding the photos. But I want to make sure of the steps you are using.

Is it really skipping them, or just saying it is? See: http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=152950

Don't know if their fix has been implemented yet or not.

The fix for this is working its way through our testing procedure.

    Hi All,

Thanks for the replies. Will check the link tomorrow.
Doc, I've tried setting before and after - same thing.
It isn't giving me the option of uploading once it has recognised the photo as a 'duplicate'.

I have to run, but will check the link and try a few confirmation tests.

Thanks again and Happy New Year!clap.gif

I selected 'skip duplicates' prior to adding photos and the screen showed 'skipping' beside the photo. I pressed upload and it uploaded. It appears it may be the same problem as mentioned in the link in pilotdave's post.

This has only happened since upgrading from Mac OSX Tiger to Snoe Leopard, maybe a link there?
