It was taken with a modified G10. The internal filter is 715nm. I also occassionally use an external 850nm filter. Arachnids aren't my favorite insects, but this one just begged to be photographed.
Interesting shot. If it wasn't for the natural-looking shading on the berries, it would look almost like a negative.
I keep thinking I should get my Rebel XSi (which has been largely ignored since I got my 5D Mark II) modded for IR... the IR work I've done so far is with un-modded cameras with an IR filter over the lens, so I need 10 sec. or longer exposures even in full sunlight, and I can't see much in the viewfinder.

Never seen a spider done in IR before. You can see where it's little legs are attached to it's body.
