    Abstract
OK, I'll start. Very hard to find something interesting that is man-made lying around the house. so, I'll go with something a little abstract. To give a clue as to size: 50D, 60mm macro, 68mm extension, cropped only to get to 8*10 aspect ratio. Anyone want to guess?

Wow, that's a tough one. I will have to think on that for a while.

    Here are my shots.

    1. My first attempt at capturing a refraction.

    2. My man-made object... I hope it is not too obvious.

OK. It's a piece of cloth from an Indian wedding dress. The disks on the side are the edges of pressed metal disks that are a few mm in diameter. You can see a metallic embroidery thread. We have a couple of quilts made up of a wide variety of these. The 60mm macro with a 6mm tube gives over 2:1 magnification, which gives you an idea about the size.
