What you need is called a RAW converter.

The Canon Digital Photo Professional software, as well as the Canon Zoom Browser program that came on the CDs with your camera will convert RAW to JPEG.

Most end up purchasing software that includes this capability. Software like Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or Photoshop Elements are popular.

Serge, welcome to the Digital Grin. clap.gif

In addition to the very good advice from CMason, if you have a Windows based computer I can also recommend RAW Therapee (RT), Picassa and FastStone (FS) for casual work.

While RT, Picassa and FS are not really capable of the careful control and layers of Photoshop, they each have some desirable qualities and all are freeware.
