    I looked through a couple of mushroom books and could not identify with certainty. There was a large grouping on a rotting tree stump (probably oak) this was part of the spread out form. Others had a more typical mushroom shape.
    I was intrigued by the texture, color and shape. It reminded me somewhat of Georgia O'Keefe's flower close ups.
