It was a great afternoon up in Whitewater B.C. Sure wish I stuck around! But at the moment, up at the ski area watching the snow fall. Happy New Year!...

Very nice. Love to see a bit tighter crop but the scenery really makes up for it.

great captures, but the watermarks in #1 and #3 pretty much ruin the view...

Hi, Love #3, the impact onto the snow is fantastic clap.gif . #4 is great as well, did you have one of him (her?) in mid air?

    Cheers, Richard.

Wow, I've always wanted to make some shots like these! Not being a downhill skiier though, I probably would be stuck on the mountainside after shooting - unless a helicopter came to get me. :giggle

Your shots are among some of the best alpine shots that I have seen, Jason. Good job!

I was going to comment on this set before, but got all tongue-tied. These shots are worthy of Powder Magazine. My only question is please, please tell me there's a follow-on shot taken 1/2 second after Launch Pad. deal.gif

    Cheers,

    Very nice shots!

What lens did you use for this? And did you flash or no flash?

I used a wide angle (17-35 2.8), no flash and great lens. On my site under Whitewater, you can look at all the metadata by mousing over the picture and pressing the info button. I had to push all these photos 1-3 stops.
