we spent some time in the mountains with the family over Christmas. My niece had a 5d mii with a 70 - 200.

    Not sure if you're looking for some critique here or you just wanted to share.

    I'd do a tighter crop (there is more empty space on the right side of the photo than on the left) + you cropped *right* at the ankles of some certain people .... which is usually a no-go for group shots. headscratch.gifne_nau.gif

    Let's remind all:

    If you must crop a limb, do so at the midpoint of the limb.
    - halfway up the shin
    - halfway between wrist and elbow
    - halfway between elbow and shoulder
