Stairway to heaven?

Took these in Felicity CA. Fairly strange place but pretty interesting.

    These are both striking images. Is it my imagination or does #1 need an ever so slight clockwise rotation?

    The horizon isn't quite level, so I agree. I also think the camera could have been positioned slightly to the right, with the lens centered over the metal banister, so that the banister's vertical supports would not be visible and the image would be symmetrical around the banister.

    But these are minor issues; it's a very cool shot anyway. The complete lack of shadows is kind of fascinating.

    Howdy,

    Really like the perspective and subject in # 1, really draws the viewer into the image and up the stairs.

    Like the processing and coloration in #2, very nicely done!!!
