Good attempt! Your boy is well lit, which is a plus, but be careful of the light also since it casts a pretty strong shadow on his left-arm also.

I know it is not easy with people reading, but try to get a little bit more eye in there (or maybe the other eye?). It almost seems like his eye is closed/he is sleeping
