Hello and welcome! I personally like the third one best. I would like to see it a bit larger though. (You can link to the -M.jpg or the -L.jpg versions if you would like.)

EDIT: Looks like Andy took care of it, so never mind! Great shots.

    welcome
hey there. hope you find this place as amazing and friendly as the rest of us. great pictures, but the third really is well captured and really surpasses the others. The lightning just opens up the picture from the blackness and provides just a hint of waves so that an ocean shot is recognizable. My only suggestion would be to possibly crop the right side just a bit to even out the black space on each side. What beach was it btw? I've just returned for a week at my condo in New Smyrna Beach, Fl. myself. thumb.gif

but, welcome and I look forward to seeing more of your work beer.gif

thanks to everyone. i'm sure i will enjoy dgrin alot. i have already seen some amazing shots and everyone seems genuinely interested in helping each other.

austin- it was sunset beach, nc. great, quiet beach. i see we are both from WNC.

i like the third one the best too, it just seems a little softer than the first one. i did have to crop it a little tighter. i agree it could be cropped more on the right side.

    thanks again!!

I like you sunsets and the lightning is very kewl too. We don't see much of it (lightning, not sunsets....lol) out here on the Left Coast, but I sure got my fill during a trip back East earlier in the month :uhoh
