The outdoor shot is pretty cool, and I like the lighting on your chessboard picture. The indoor candle shot doesn't say a lot to me, though.

I like the first one. It is well composed and gives a nice feel for outdoor candles in the snow.

The chess set is well done with regards to the featured pieces, but I think the potential is largely untapped with regards to it being an unusual chess set.

I did the second and the third to practise using my new lighting kit. I tried matching my lights to the candles in the second shot, ended up using double CTOs.

The chess set would have been worth a whole series of its own, but the sauna was warm and all...

Nicely done! Thanks for sharing the gelling on the candle shots as I was struggling a bit with the gelling this year. That last one makes me think, "Smack-down at Santa's"....
