my 2009

Qarik

2009 was a fun year in terms of photography. I learned A LOT. I got fairly comfortable with an umbrella and reflector and using the nikon CLS. I found the 85mm 1.4 is my favorite lens. I went full frame. My post processing skills got MUCH better espcially in terms of sharpening and NR. Most importantly I am beggining to be able to take a vision in my head and deconstruct it AND reconstruct it through lighting and framing and such.

Five stands out the most to me. Super super sweet. Does mom have a huge 24x36 of this hanging up in her nursery?? She needs to if she doesn't.

They're all beautiful, but five just makes me melt inside.

Yeah, I'm with Jeff - #6 is teh awesome. I also love the "Curious No More" shot, as you know - it makes me laugh out loud every time I see it. And that new little one of yours looks like a real character!! Good stuff, Qarik!
