My apologies in advance if this is a 'true' macro forum only.
This is one of my favorites from this past fall. The gills remind me of tiny stalactites.
Taken with a manual Zuiko 90mm f2 macro lens mounted on an E-300 body. Mid-morning near a river with a tripod assist. 1/10 sec @ f8 or so.
One question though...does the lighting work or is it too flat?? I've been looking at it so long, I can't tell anymore.

Some macro snobs only accept life sized images or greater (ie 1:1 ratios or greater), the rest they consider close-ups and get all uppity. I'm more flexible and glad this forum is, too.
