Need To Learn My Birds, Is This A Snowy Egret?

Hi there.
I am new to photography ( less than 1 yr ), just now shooting wildlife specifically birds...this was on Saturday in the Everglades, Anhinga Trail. Can someone tell me if it is a Snowy and if not what is it . :dunno Thanks !

Not a Snowy. Snowies can be distinguished by a black bill and black legs with yellow feet. What you have here is a good ol' fashion great egret, I believe.

It is indeed a great egret. If you are just starting out doing bird photography and would like a good bird guide. I would recommend Kenn Kaufman's
Field Guide to birds of North America.
