Camping trip with my son

All,

Thought I share a few photos from my camping trip with my son. We camped out in Pt. Mugu State Park for three days. It was a great trip. Did lots of hiking and staring at the ocean.

Here's a view of the campsite:

It got pretty hot while we were out and about. This was a typical view I had of my 13-year old son.

But there were times to cool-off and enjoy the water and feeding the critters...

Some just couldn't wait to get more!

We had some grand sunsets...

And awesome moonrises!

In the end we had to go but we know we'll come back again soon.

Thanks for looking. If you want to see more go to this gallery: http://hbphoto.smugmug.com/gallery/683444

Cheers,

That last one is a beautiful poignant shot!! I can see that one framed with a nice quote on it somewhere.

Thanks! It looks like one of the pictures in a "Footprints" prayer plaque to me. Maybe not too original but was still fun to take.

It was indeed. Nice to be able to spend that time together away from it all.

Definitely a "Footprints" prayer type of photo, I'm a Christian & Inspirational author myself and I am trying to work on a piece to surpass that poem and be just as famous :)

No...but I've got plenty of skim scratches on my body! rolleyes1.gif

The waves would carry lots of rocks and I kept getting pelted. Never had tried it before...it was fun after a few very laughable falls!
