Replacing Photos

I have a blog and have noticed that some of my pictures are showing up on other peoples blogs. I would like to go back and edit my pictures and add a watermark, and then replace them. I would need them to keep the same file name, since that is what I point to in my blog. If I do a replace photo, will it keep the same file name?

yes - replace away, the old links will still work, but will get a new photo
