Beautiful shots. I'm a bit in awe that these are your first shots with tubes! The large photos at the links say that 3 and 4 are starfish. What is #1? And what did you use for lighting?

#1 are pine needles and 3 and 4, as mentioned, are the bottom of a starfish.

Thank you. It is definitely a lot different shooting macro then landscapes. Really makes me work for a good shot...which is a good thing!

Flash: On, Fired

#2
Exposure: 0.011 sec (1/90)
Aperture: f/13.0
ISO Speed: 200
Flash: On, Fired

#3 and #4
Exposure: 0.011 sec (1/90)
Aperture: f/13.0
ISO Speed: 320
Flash: On, Fired

For #3 and #4 I bounced the flash to the right off of a Lysol bottle

Get em now before they jack the price up on eBAy. Specialty bounce flash bottles for Canon EOS

I needed something white to bounce and that was the closest item.
