Some High School Hockey

Here are a few from last weekend. All shot with my D90 and the 70-200mm f2.8 nikon. Shot at ISO1000, RAW with some PP done in Lightroom.

    Nice px Steve. I really like the 3rd one, nice and sharp and I like the intensity on his face. My son is a freshman playing varsity for Lincoln. I had to work when we played you at the Holiday Tournament (I heard I missed quite a game). I was hoping to meet up with you (I've seen your posts before and recognized the uniforms). I think we are scheduled to meet up the last weekend in January. Can I tell you how jealous I am of you if Boss is your home arena, I think it has the best lighting in the state for hockey px, I can't wait to get down there again. We don't have a home rink and float around between Burrillville (pretty good) and MSC (OK-no glass).

    I have some pictures from that tournament game, PM me and I will send you a link. Boss is our home rink, it has the best locker rooms in the state. The lighting is nice at the Boss rink, and the glass is in pretty good shape. MSC rink is nice because there is no netting but the lighting is not so great. PC and Brown are good but we don't play there often.

    Nice action captures; the coloring of the faces are a bit too pinkish
