Ok, I'll bite on this one. All Star Cheer is what I mainly shoot right now, but rapidly making new contacts and getting into other sports that I love and want to shoot. Also getting into some local school cheerleading competitions, should be interesting since they are not as fast paced as all star cheer. I have a long way to go with the quality of my work, but I will be getting a lot of practice in the next couple of months.

Thanks rogerchester, I will say that online sales drop off to the point of being non-existent after 72 hrs from the completion of the event. I get the occasional straggler a few days or even a couple weeks later, but those are little bonuses. I print onsite so that is where I get 95% of my sales. When you say you have 4 events this month, does that mean you are the contracted photog for the event or are these events you are attending (daughter or friends daughter etc. on the team) for someone you know? This matters for a couple reasons. 1- marketing. If you are not the contracted photog, its hard to market your work. 2- If you are taking shots and not the contract photog, be cautious, you don't want to step on other photog's toes... last thing, it was a bunch of cheer moms on my daughter's team that convinced me to start selling and go as deep as I have into this.....and yet only 3 of those moms purchased from me. Basically, don't rely on your gym to provide income for you.

I hope I haven't sounded stupid here, but I don't know what level of sales you are at, if you are contracted, etc.

I know you are not close to us, but what events do you have this month? we might cross paths.... also, you guys going to the finals in Pigeon Forge, TN in April?

    Thanks rocketman
I will be contracted on this events. My marketing skills need help with. The events coordinator will put my information on the event schedule for me.I don't know if i should make my own or just use the one they make. The last event i did i got a couple e mail for people wanting photos be never got the order. This was before i up graded to pro on sm so it wasn't easy to order photos. So now i will be water marked and credit card ready. My web site gets a lot of traffic so i know they know where the photos are. I priced my photos a lot cheaper then the pros who at some of the events i have be to and they seam to be selling photos at the higher prices. Thier photos are just as good as mine a lot ofthe time mine are clearer. You had the same start i had with the gym and they do hardly buy either. Then they get up set if i am not at a event. We already went to Pigeon Forge our finales are at Disney world in March. Thanks for your help
