I recall the other shot. I think this one is better as it really shows how stranded these boats are.

    Well done!

Really incredible, Craig. I like how the IR creates the contrast here and really provides so much detail.
Mary Kim, glad it isn't so cold that your internet stopped working. Saw the news said -52 wind chill up your way.

rolleyes1.gif Internet is running good -- thank goodness. Went out once and that was enough for me.

    Howdy Anthony,

Thanks very much, around the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia there is a lot of
tidal activity, and it really was an eye opening event for us, nothing out of the norm for the locals<G>.

    Howdy Andrew,

Thanks very much for the kind reply.

I know I can't even imagine that kind of cold, we got down to 16 with the windchill and it was pretty brutal for us.

    Howdy You,

    :D:D:D:D:D Sorry I just couldn't help it.

I don't remember whether I posted it or not but they have a great webcam that I watch all the time, really neat to see the tides in full, and then 5-6 hours later you see them sitting on the bottom.

    Howdy Craig

Wonderful capture here. I love the perspective and detail in this shot. clap.gif Not an easy task to rig those spring lines such that they allow the boats to gently settle on the bottom snug up against the pilings and completely vertical when the tide goes out.

    Howdy Jack,

Thanks very much, I couldn't imagine how they could rig it so it would
stay stabile when the tides drop, we are still just in awe of that way of life.
