    This isn't really a critique since I think that involves commenting on what is presented and how that was accomplished. My observation, though, is that I would like to see the next frame...the one where the group is a few steps closer.

    I'd like to see the group a bit more distinct and not part of the columns and boat in the background. The figure to the far right in the main group is odd. Something weird about the head. This would be resolved if they were closer.

    Compositionally, it's great. I like that diagonal running down to the lower left corner and the balance of the mass of boat on the far left and the tree on the right. Nice crop.

    Nice scene. I think a square crop eliminating the left side would improve it. The barges are not particularly picturesque and it would make the people a little more prominent, though still on the small side. If you're not in Paris, then I think a re-shoot is definitely called for. mwink.gif
