Wildflowers in the Sierra Nevadas

The wildflowers are in full bloom in many areas of the Sierra Nevadas. I wanted to share some pics from a hike we took last week.

    I also love wildflowers and it looks like you had a really nice assortment to choose from. Your shots are very nice thumb.gifthumb.gif One would think that it's kind of late in the year for wildflowers, but I've been seeing lots of them down in the valleys too ne_nau.gif

    Nice ones, Steve! I love wildflowers also - right behind waterfalls. The mountains of western North Carolina are full of them and it's always a thrill for me to come across a variety I haven't seen before. Thanks for posting yours!
