Random Images from All Galleries

I've seen it mentioned before in the forum but was wondering if there are any intentions on creating a random image generator from all galleries? It would be preferable if it was built as an API method. I have implemented a random image generator using API calls but it seems pretty inefficient.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sorry to bump up an older thread, but I've been looking for the past couple of days too. I want to put a random photo or two on my wordpress blog. I want it to randomly pick from all of my galleries, not just one. I've found two ways, both not very good. Both use RSS image.

    1. Use the recent galleries. WOrks for now, since I've had Smugmug since May, so all galleries are displayed, but only ONE picture, the last one uploaded for the gallery.

    2. Add the feed for ALL of the galleries. This is about 80 feeds...I'm sure it's either causing slow page loads or high server loads.

    ImageCount=1 will limit the return, but still only picks the last image.

    I second the need for a new feed that randomly picks from all galleries.

    Was this ever implemented? Would be GREAT for me personally (and my app).
